In contemplation of acquisition, we would always advise clients to assess their current portfolio and identify both the type of property investment they require and the capital value parameters within which they wish to invest.
Following the above, we would either discreetly, or openly, enter the marketplace and seek to identify suitable investments for consideration by the client.
Each investment would be assessed with advice given to the client on identified properties, both in terms of suitability and price. Once a suitable property is identified we would enter into negotiations and agree terms, whilst at the same time undertaking suitable due diligence on both the property, existing leases and lessees where appropriate.
Following agreement to purchase we would produce a detailed set of Heads of Terms and oversee the matter through to conclusion, including liaising with the client’s lawyer.
